Our Mission:

The Janet S. Munt Family Room is a place that builds healthy, connected communities by supporting families and young children.

A welcoming space where every family belongs and grows.

The Family Room is a parent-child center located in Burlington’s Old North End. We are open to all Chittenden County families with children from prenatal to age 5. We provide free programs for caregivers and children, home visits and family support. We are here to make sure families feel safe, have their basic needs met, and feel supported.

We focus on the health of the whole family, every generation, not just the children.
